What is the most likely diagnosis?
Answer
Answer:
Adrenal adenoma
Case Discussion:
CT and MR images revealed left adrenal mass with < 10 HU consistent with an adrenal adenoma and left adrenal mass with loss of signal on out-of-phase imaging. Adrenal adenomas are the most common adrenal lesion and are often found incidentally during abdominal imaging for other reasons. The majority of adrenal adenomas are non-functioning. Typical adenomas are small (<3 cm), homogeneous and low density. Atypical features include hemorrhage, calcification, necrosis, lack or paucity of fat and large (if >4 cm: 70% malignant,if >6 cm: 85% malignant)
