What is the most likely diagnosis?
Answer
Answer: Craniosynostosis
Case Discussion:
Scenography demonstrate copper beaten skull. CT findings are consistent with copper beaten skull in a patient with craniosynostosis. No parenchymal lesions. No brain swelling.
Copper beaten skull refers to the prominence of convolutional markings (gyral impressions on the inner table of the skull) seen throughout the skull vault. Causes included increased intracranial pressure (hydrocephalus, brain tumour) and craniosynostosis (as in this case report)
